Fresh New Brand for an Old Idea

Brand identity design is part of a complete branding campaign for start-up restaurant.

It may have seemed like a new restaurant concept at first, but the more we thought about it, the concept really came from an old idea — Offer the freshest, slow-cooked meats served on homemade, whole-grain breads. Bake pies (like Grandma used to) with fresh fruit picked from the orchard. And serve fresh salads and vegetables plucked right from the garden. Gerardot & Co. gave this restaurant concept a name, a voice and a face with a complete brand identity system. Befitting of an old-fashioned restaurant, we combined a classic woodcut illustration with a turn-of-the-century type treatment.
