A 17-Day Brand Discovery Journey

In December 2008, Indianapolis creative agency Gerardot & Co. and videographer Larry Ladig set out on a 17-day mission to explore and document the lesser known “Out Islands” of the Bahamas.

As part of an ongoing branding and awareness campaign to promote tourism, our goal was to tell the true story of the Bahamas Out Islands from people that had never heard of, let alone explored, the Bahamas Out Islands. Luckily, the talent we hired (Kevin Oestenstadt and Jennifer Fox) couldn’t have been a better choice. Not only had they never been to the Out Islands, they were truly awestruck when they experienced it up close and personally.

With little more than a loose script and a crazy flight schedule, our team hopped from island to island for a grueling, but incredibly enriching experience. These HD videos chronicle our island adventures.

    Authentic Bahamas Writes:

Good work. We’re always pleased to see marketing campaigns that support the Out Islands. There is a richness in the Bahamas that Nassau alone does not convey.

As a boutique creative agency, we work closely with a relatively small number of clients at one time. So, just as businesses need to be selective about choosing a creative agency, marketing firm, or design studio, we are very selective about the clients with whom we choose to work. Don’t take it personally. We don’t.
